Executive summary:
The outcome of the project was a comprehensive excel model for optimizing the distribution of promotional displays within the supermarket and hypermarket retail chain. The model inserted sales data into performance metrics and patterns of consumer purchasing behavior. On the basis of in-depth analysis, it identified the inefficiency in the current layout of displays and its connection to consumer purchasing behavior and recommended a more efficient number of promotional displays that would increase the total economic yield of the store's sales floor.
